FOLEY, Ala. - Eddie Vick's Auto Repair will host a horse show at the Foley Horse Area, with proceeds form the event benefitting autistic children.

The arena is located on Alabama 59 and the events will take place July 8-10 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

"I'm bringing a ocuple of my horses out with saddles and letting the kids ride around the arena," Eddie Vick, owner of the auto repair company, said. "If they donate anything it will go into a fund for autistic kids."

The reason for the program is to raise money for local autistic children and give them an enjoyable event during the summer, Vick said. The horse-risind event is for all local children.

"I designed it for autistic kids, but I'm not turning anybody away," he said. "I'd like to do this every year."
