ORANGE BEACH, Ala. --The Orange Beach Garden Club is pleased to announce that the gardens of Tina and John Hulen at 5087 Washington Blvd., Orange Beach have been selected for the club’s Residential Yard of the Month Award.
The Hulens’ beautifully designed landscaping is highlighted by a Koi Pond off their patio. The pond is surrounded by plantings of variegated Ginger, Blue Rug Juniper and green and black Elephant Ears.
Gerbera daisies, Canna and Coleus are currently blooming in the gardens, competing for attention with full bloomed Camellias. Great thought has been paid to delight the eye at every sight level - a canopy of Carolina Jasmine flowers climbs twenty-five feet up a backyard Live Oak tree and the Hulen gardens’ lush and varied foliage is a favorite “trim” for OBGC floral arrangements.
