Humberto “Herb” Vando, 76, of Orange Beach passed away Nov. 30, 2013.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Vando of Orange Beach; three sons, Mark Vando of Dallas, Texas, Rick Vando of Crescent Springs, Ky. and Paul Vando of Yardley, Pa.; three stepsons, Dennis Toll of Memphis, Tenn., Russell Toll of Memphis, Tenn. and Elh Sammons of Memphis, Tenn.; one stepdaughter, Emily Sammons Merrell of Memphis, Tenn.; two sisters, Rose Vando and Nydia Bush, both of Inverness, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service was held Tuesday Dec. 3, 2013 from Lagoon Baptist Church in Gulf Shores, with Pastor Bo Smith officiating.
