LOXLEY, Ala. — Loxley police originally got a call about a traffic accident on Interstate 10.

They went out expecting to find mayhem Monday, July 13 around 6:30 a.m.

However, when officers arrived on the scene, near the mile 41 marker, they didn’t find what they were expecting.

Instead, they found something else. In fact, it’s possible that you’ll “see” what they found on a reality TV show someday.

Two women appeared to be arguing inside the 2008 Toyota Tacoma as officers pulled up. The Tacoma was later found to be traveling to Mobile from the Pensacola area.

According to Lt. Doug Phillips of the Loxley Police Department, the driver of the vehicle was intoxicated and the passenger was too. The passenger was also topless.

A police officer got a blanket from the trunk of his cruiser and covered the woman. A “dash cam” video of the incident shows the officer running to the car with the blanket, and then him placing the passenger under arrest.

“The driver of the car was arrested for being under the influence. The passenger was arrested for public intoxication,” said Phillips. “She (the passenger) was so intoxicated, she didn’t know where her clothes were.”

The arrest has caught the attention of Hollywood, and Phillips says that he has been contacted by “some reality TV shows” that use unusual police videos.
