Daughtry has been added to this year’s Bayfest line-up, festival officials have announced. The band will headline the Pepsi Stage Oct. 6 at 10:30 p.m.
The band is led by lead singer, Chris Daughtry, a 2006 finalist from American Idol, along with lead guitarist Josh Steely, bassist Josh Paul and drummer Joey Barnes.
Their self- titled debut album, “DAUGHTRY,” was released on Nov. 21, 2006. The record reached No. 1 for two non-consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200. To date, the record has sold more than three million copies, making it the fastest-selling debut rock album in Soundscan history.
Weekend tickets to Bayfest are $35, and they are available at www.bayfest.com.
Single-day tickets are $25 per day, and they are available at the gate.
The 13th Annual BayFest Music Festival will be held Oct. 5-7, in the streets of downtown Mobile.
