Approximately 176 Illinois Snowbirds and guests enjoyed the breakfast and cameraderie at LuLu's in Gulf Shores on Friday. Our guest speaker was local author, artist and boutique owner Ryan Anderson, who spoke of the inspiration for her novels “The Czech Files,” “The Artist” and “Undelivered.”
Following a question-and-answer session, Cheryl Borino drew tickets and handed out fabulous door prizes donated by local businesses.
The next potluck is set for Thursday at 5 p.m. at the Gulf Shores Adult Activity Center.
The next breakfast meeting is Feb. 11 at 8:15 a.m. (doors open at 7:45 a.m.) at LuLu's in Gulf Shores. The cost is $8.
