Students at Stapleton were singing a happy tune recently as some of the Baldwin Pops Members stopped by to visit. They just happen to bring their instruments along and the students heard how the instruments sounded plus they were able to touch and play some of them. Shown in the picture is Joe Riemer explaining the workings of a saxophone to some of the fourth grade students. Many thanks to the Baldwin Pops Members, Joe Riemer, Leon Sill, Alec Thigpen and Dede Wilson who graciously enlightened the students on the many different kinds of instruments and whet their appetite to someday play in the band!
