Iowa club meets at LuLu’s in Gulf Shores

The Iowa Snowbirds Club met Jan. 26 at LuLu’s Homeport for breakfast.

President Marvin Hastings introduced Mitchell Sims, artistic director of the Coastal Chorale. The Coastal Chorale has existed for 10 years with 40 singers. They will be performing “Do You Hear The People Sing?” at the First Baptist Church Feb. 17-20. Sims sang several songs for the group. He is the new conductor for the Coastal Choral.

Upcoming events are the Feb. 25 crab boil and the next cocktail party is today at Phoenix VII with Dee Brown and Mae Howes hosting.
