Irene Parker Fell passed away peacefully Oct. 14, 2014.
Born in Texas, she grew up in downtown Pensacola, spent her married years in Perdido Key, Fla. and then in her later years she moved to Foley.
She was a devoted wife and mother, loving grandmother and great-grandmother, and a treasured friend.
Her biggest joy was spending time with her two sons.
Irene also loved Auburn football, baseball, playing board games and she was always ready for a road trip.
Irene loved babies, and worked for many years in her church nursery. Her sweet spirit and unconditional love will be forever remembered.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion V. Fell; and her son, Kirk L. Fell.
She is survived by her son, Keith (Cindy) Fell of Pensacola; her daughter-in-law, Kay Fell of Mobile; grandchildren, Kristi (Willie) Brown, Karla Fell, Keith Fell Jr. and Parker Fell; six great-grandchildren, a brother, Arnold Parker; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, at 9 a.m., at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, 619 New Warrington Road in Pensacola.
A celebration of her life will begin at 9:45.
Interment will follow at Union Hill Baptist Cemetery.
