It was a Knight for Giants

FAIRHOPE, Alabama --- Despite the chilly temperatures, the Knights of Ecor Rouge rode stalwartly through the streets of Fairhope Saturday night. Whether mounted on faithful steeds or "iron horses" decked out with mythical giants or American heroes, the KOERs entertained parade-goers all along the route.

The 28th annual parade presented by the KOERs, the oldest male mystic parading society in Baldwin County was themed "A Knight for Giants." It was filled with a cast of characters real and imaginary and included Paul Bunyon and his trusted Ox, Babe; Clifford the Big Red Dog; the giant from Jack and the Beanstalk; Godzilla; King Kong; the Jolly Green Giant; astronaut Neil Armstrong and Eli Manning of the New York Giants.
