J. Edgar Moser Jr., born in St. Louis, Mo., April 28, 1925, died Friday, March 2, 2012, surrounded by family and friends at Westminster Village in Spanish Fort. Ed was a decorated WWII veteran, a devoted husband, a loving companion to Pat Brislin and a great father. Ed was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Esther Dill Moser. Surviving are two sons, Ed (Kerrie) Moser and Bill (Sarah) Moser; a daughter, deLancey (Ben) Erickson;six grandchildren, Bill (Tina) Erickson, Ashely (James) Query, Ben (Beth) Erickson, Allen Moser, deLancey Moser, John E Moser and great-grandchildren; Siddah, Will, and Emma. A Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Daphne. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church , the Eastern Shore Literacy Council, The Boy Scouts of America, or your favorite charity.
