Jack Joseph Bayuk Sr. (USN, Ret.), 92, a native of Alliance, N.J. and resident of Fairhope, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013.
Jack was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Jean Bayuk; and son, Corp. Oscar King Higgonbotham Bayuk.
He is survived by his two daughters, JoAnn Williams of Brunswick, Ga. And Kelly Paige Childress of St. Simons Island, Ga.; one son, Jack Joseph Bayuk Jr. of Brunswick, Ga.; three grandchildren, Heather Williams, David Slaughter and Joey McCullough; four great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, from 9 until the service time.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Bounds Family YMCA, 8051 Whispering Pines Road, Daphne, AL 36526.
