BAY MINETTE, Alabama — It came down to a full-court press with no time outs remaining, but Jack Robertson and son Robby Robertson made a furious rally on the last (No. Nine) hole to win by two strokes in the 18th annual Father-Son golf tournament Saturday at Holly Hills Country Club. It was the fourth Father-Son win for the Robertson boys since the event began in 1996.

“It was a full field of teams and even though the weather was awfully hot. It was an exciting tournament,” Jack Robertson said. “We max it out every year with a full house and it’s just a very popular event. Robby and I played pretty well down the stretch and pulled it out. It was fun.”

The first-family of basketball coaching in Baldwin County, Jack is the head basketball coach and athletic director at Faulkner State Community College. Robby is the head basketball coach at Fairhope High.
