Jack W. Snyder, age 85, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Monday, Jan. 23, 2017.
He was an undergraduate at Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina and received his master's from Florida State and Auburn University.
He was a basketball coach and high school teacher at Stanhope Elmore in Millbrook, Alabama.
Jack was a member of the Elks Lodge and Kiwanis International Club.
He is survived by his son, Jack J. Snyder (Gretchen) of Suwanee, Georgia; daughter, Michelle S. Jackson, M.D. of Fairhope; grandchildren, Abigail L. Snyder and Finley H. Jackson; other loving relatives and friends.
A celebration of Jack's life will be held Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Wounded Warriors.
