Jacob Hadley, 84, a native and resident of Perdido died Friday, March 18, 2011 at Springhill Memorial Hospital.

He was an Aircraft Machinist at Brookley Field and Pensacola Naval Air Station. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Ruberta White Hadley of Perdido; daughter, Sandralyn (James) Duckworth of Perdido; brother, Tuney Hadley of Perdido; two sisters, Dorothy Bryars of Perdido and Horothy Buck of White House Fork; two grandchildren, Roxanne (James) Shows and Randall (Libby) Stewart, both of Rabun; one great-grandson, Chett Phillips; a number of special nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday, March 21 from the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Thursia Long, the Rev. Angelo Thomley and the Rev. James Peacock officiating. Burial followed at Bryars-McGill Cemetery.
