James A. “Jimmy” Lores, age 65, a native of Baldwin County and a resident of Spanish Fort, Ala., passed away Monday, Sept. 28, 2015.
He served in the United States Navy and was a member of DAV.
Mr. Lores was the family historian and gifted with a terrific memory as he was a great storyteller. He had a talent for making people laugh like no other.
Mr. Lores is survived his brothers and sisters, Skeets Lores of Pensacola, Fla., Johnny Lores of Loxley, Ala., Beth Lores Hurley of Robertsdale, Ala., Mickey Lores of Atlanta, Ga., Vicki Lores of Fairhope, Ala., Tim Lores of Cairo, Ga., Dwight Lores, David Lores and Elisa Lores Franklin, all of Silverhill, Ala., Denise Lores of Fairhope, Ala., Paul Lores of Silverhill, Ala.; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A visitation will be held Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015, from 10 until 11 a.m., at Mack Funeral Home.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 12:30 p.m. at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Spanish Fort.
