James Edward Comer Jr., 82, a native of Selma, and resident of Robertsdale, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015.
Mr. Comer was a member of Robertsdale First Baptist Church. He was a coach at Robertsdale High School and a principal at Silverhill Elementary School.
Mr. Comer believed in spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Loyce Comer of Robertsdale; two daughters, Vicki Comer Kirkconnell of Birmingham and Lisa Comer of Silverhill; a brother, Lee M. Comer of Birmingham; and two grandchildren, Ian Comer Kirkconnell and Caroline Elizabeth Kirkconnell.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
