James Edward “Eddie” Hall, 71, a native and resident of the Rabun community of Bay Minette, died Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014 at his residence.
He worked in maintenance (retired) for the Baldwin County Board of Education. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Vada J. (Lane) Hall of Rabun; one daughter, Dawn Renee Demko of Perdido; one brother, Wendell (Frankie Lou) Hall of Bay Minette; one sister, Jeanette (Vern) Hadley of Perdido; three grandchildren, Megan D. Demko, Kaley (Derrick) McLain and Zackary Demko; and two great-grandchildren, Jaycee Mae Demko and Abi McLain.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at 11 a.m., at Guy’s Chapel United Methodist Church, with the Rev. James Peacock and the Rev. David Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Guy’s Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, from 6 until 8 p.m., at Norris Funeral Home in Bay Minette.
Pallbearers will be Norris Hall, Leon Hall, Craig Hadley, Jason Hadley, Barry Demko, Jerry Threadgill, Ken Hall and Clifton Byrd.
