James Michael Anderson, 57, born in Mobile and a resident of Bay Minette, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at his residence.
He was a gas department supervisor for North Baldwin Utilities.
He is survived by his wife, Sherlene Norris Anderson of Bay Minette; one son, Aaron Michael Anderson of Bay Minette; one daughter, Jessica Marie Anderson of Bay Minette; and three sisters, Ann (Clarence) Morris of Robertsdale, Carol (Wyatt) Robinson of Atmore and Joyce Hellmich of Foley.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, May 11, 2013, at 2 p.m., at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home, with Dr. Henry Cox and Dr. Larry Patterson officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 10, 2013, from 6 until 9 p.m., at Norris Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Wade Durant, Wesley Jackson, Dustin Steele, Joey Tolbert, Greg Quinley and Brandon Parker.
The family would like to express heartfelt appreciation to all the caregivers, doctors, nurses, aides and friends for their relentless loving care for Mike during his long journey.
