James Mullins Norman Jr., age 74, a resident of Fairhope, passed away Sunday, Nov. 15, 2015.
He was a member of Fairhope United Methodist Church, a graduate of Auburn University in electrical engineering and a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and friend.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kent Dawson Norman.
Jim is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dilana Gorman Norman; son, Scott Waring Norman (Sandra Parker); grandchildren, Parker Dilan Norman, Lydia James Norman and Ann Marie Norman; daughter-in-law, Sonya Williamson Norman; brother, Dr. Victor Dawson Norman (Kathy); sister, Janice Ruth Alderman (James); other loving family and friends.
A celebration of Jim’s life will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Fairhope United Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Fairhope United Methodist Church Columbarium fund.
