James William “J.W.” Joiner, 83, born in Winter Garden, Fla. and a resident of the White House Fork community of Bay Minette, died Saturday, June 1, 2013 at his residence.

He is survived by his wife, Voncile (Wallace) Joiner of White House Fork; his children, Doyle (Teresa) Joiner of White House Fork, Karen (Lamar) Branum of White House Fork and Robin (Bill) Jackson of White House Fork; seven grandchildren, Casey Joiner, Davin Joiner, Dustin Branum, Hayden Branum, Colby Branum, Karen Parsell and Bill Jackson III; and six great-grandchildren, Mason Joiner, Madelyn Joiner, Hannah Parsell, Kennedy Parsell, Travis Parsell and Lynell Jackson.

The funeral service will be held Monday, June 3, 2013, at 1 p.m. at White House Fork Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Fred Stallworth officiating. Burial will follow at White House Fork Baptist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday, June 3, 2013, from 11 until the 1 p.m. service.
