Jane Sudduth Burchfield, formerly of Birmingham, passed this life to be with the Lord on Sunday, Nov. 9, 2014. She passed away quietly from home in Foley, with her loving husband of 67 years by her side.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Louise Sudduth; and a son, Eugene Neal Burchfield Jr.
She leaves to cherish her husband, Eugene Neal Burchfield Sr.; a sister, Jacqueline Pittman; three daughters, Linda Hendrix, Susan Jones and Kelly Smith; 11 grandchildren, Frank Burchfield, David Eubanks, Linda Storey, Stephen Gillette, Kasey, Jason and Jesse Smith, Tim Hendix, Heidi Spicer, Kimberly Jones and Andrea Childs; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A private memorial was held in Orange Beach.
The family has donated her body to the Anatomical Gifts Program at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine.
