Janet Faye Whatley, born June 19, 1952, died Monday, Nov. 7, 2011 at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson, Miss.
She was a registered nurse, specializing in hospice care in Jackson, Miss.
Faye fought a long and valiant fight with kidney disease, and succumbed to kidney failure. She was well-loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Bo Whatley; her son, John Kevin Hayles; three grandchildren, Kambry, Johnny and Daniel Hayles; and her brother, Joey Hayles.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, at 2 p.m., at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Guy’s Chapel Cemetery in Rabun.
The family will receive friends Friday, Nov. 11, 2011, from 5 until 8 p.m., at Norris Funeral Home.
