Jannis Marie Lathan, 72, born in Uriah and a resident of Bay Minette, died Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Thomas Hospital.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by a son, Jimmy (Anita) White of Bay Minette; a daughter, Tina (Tony) Meinhardt of Grove Hill; two sisters, Katrina Crane of Bay Minette and Gayle Ikner Scarbrough of Stockton; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy White; her father, Johnnie Ikner; her mother, Penola Ikner; and a sister, Judy Kirksey.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 19, 2014, at 10 a.m., at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home in Bay Minette, with Dr. Henry Cox officiating.
Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday, July 18, 2014, from 6 until 9 p.m., at Norris Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Nick Meinhardt, Jaime Hilbun, Keith Patterson, Zach White, James Godwin and Eric Thompson.
