Jean G. Smith, age 69, a native of Texas and a resident of Spanish Fort, Ala., passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015.
Mrs. Smith enjoyed life to the fullest.
She was preceded in death by parents, Margarett G. and Lonnie William Corley.
She is survived by her husband, James Odell Smith of Spanish Fort, Ala.; daughter, Lonny (Bill) Stroh of Spanish Fort, Ala.; two sons, Melven (Alice) Slate of Rockport, N.Y., Roy (Alice) Slate of Gailford, Conn.; three sisters, Margarett Corley (Billy) Harden, Donna Corley (Larry) Bundrick, Connie Corley Lewis; brother, Gerald Wayne (Jerry) Corley, all of Texas; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 14, 2015, at 10 a.m., at Mack Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will begin receiving friends at 9:30 prior to the service.
