Jean White Rieben, 77, born in Goodwater, Ala. and a resident of Bay Minette, died Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013 at her residence.
She was the owner and operator of Jean’s Florist.
She is survived by her husband, Ray E. Rieben of Bay Minette; her children, Richard O. (Melinda) Johnson of Bay Minette, Johnny L. (Darlene) Johnson of Bay Minette and Sondra R. Chapman of Clanton, Ala.; her stepchildren, Randall R. (Gail) Rieben of Bay Minette, the Rev. Danny (Elaine) Rieben of Clayton, Ala., Bobby G. (Tammy) Rieben of Bay Minette and Beverly (Randy) Dean of Bay Minette; three brothers, Lynn (Patsy) White of Florence, Ala., Jerry (Marilyn) White of Muscle Shoals and Donald (Patricia) White of Oxford, Ala.; two sisters, Genelle White of Alexander City, Ala. and Christine Powell of Bay Minette; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013, at 2 p.m., at Vision Ministries Church, with the Rev. Alan Blackmon, the Rev. J.P. Lambert and the Rev. Danny Rieben officiating. Burial will follow at White House Fork Baptist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, from 6 until 8 p.m., at Vision Ministries Church.
Pallbearers will be Brian Dees, Charles Richerson, Orlando Neal, Jonathan Johnson, Benny Duck and Ricky Gibson.
Although the family will accept flowers, they suggest memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 19059 Greeno Road, Suite A, Fairhope, AL 36532.
