Rodeo queens were crowned in Foley’s Heritage Park on Friday night, July 30th. Fourteen contestants competed for the honor of being named Princess, Senior Queen, and Rodeo Queen. Sisters from Magnolia Springs, Jenna and Kaitlyn Boswell were awarded the titles of Queen and Princess respectively. Senior Queen Sara Willis hails from Foley.
The queens and their court will be featured in the 13th Annual Jennifer Claire Moore Professional Rodeo being held at the Foley Horse Arena August 5th, 6th, and 7th. Pre-Rodeo festivities begin at 7p.m. each evening, with the rodeo kicking off at 8 p.m. Discount tickets may be purchased in advance at Summerdale Western Store, Frances Holk-Jones State Farm in Foley (Hwy 98), and all Baldwin County branches of BB&T and Wells Fargo banks. Admission at the gate is $10 for adults and $6 for children ages 4-12. Ages 3 and under are admitted free.
