Jerry D. Green, 64, a native of Hartselle and resident of Orange Beach for past 12 years, died Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston after losing his battle with leukemia.

He was a member of St. Margarets Queen of Scotland Catholic Church in Foley.

Survivors include his wife, Vicki Green of Orange Beach; daughter, Jenny Gardner of Daphne; grandson, Walker Gardner of Daphne; brother, Wayne F. Green of Hartselle; nieces, nephews, many relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday, May 30 at St. Margaret Queen of Scotland Catholic Church in Foley. Burial followed at St. Margaret Queen of Scotland Catholic Cemetery.
