Jesse “Jet” Lee Edwards, 74, of Gulf Shores, died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015 at UAB, Birmingham.
He was born on Saturday, Nov. 15, 1941 in Chilton County, Ala., son of the late Isaac Edwards and the late Myrtle Steapp Edwards.
He was a carpenter.
Surviving are his wife, Norma Edwards of Gulf Shores, Ala.; sons, Denny Lee (Cherie) Edwards, David Wayne (Amy) Edwards, Daniel Todd (Kim) Edwards; daughter, Rhonda Ray; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Colethia (Harold) Littlejohn, Evelyn Patterson.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kellye M. Edwards; son, Daryl Edwards .
Friends will be received from noon-2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 18, 2015 at Pates Chapel Baptist Church.
Services will be held Friday, Dec. 18, 2015, at 2 p.m., at Pates Chapel Baptist Church, Jemison, with Rev. Gary Jones, Rev. Teddy Chadwick, Rev. Jason Smith officiating.
Interment will follow in Pates Chapel Baptist Cemetery, Jemison, Ala.
