Jim Thomley, 65, a native of Robertsdale and a resident of Silverhill, died Saturday, April 16, 2011.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed NASCAR and working on classic cars. He recently retired from the Foley WalMart.
Survivors include his wife, Joy Gravette Thomley of Robertsdale; two daughters, Dawn Luker of Robertsdale and Laurie (Danny) Foley of Elsanor; son, Wade (Melissa) Thomley of Silverhill; mother and step-father, Geneva and Henry Lockett of Elsanor; step-mother, Evelyn Peterson of Clear Springs; three sisters, Frances Wayland of Elberta, Connie Coggins of Clear Springs and Kathy Ferguson of Pensacola, Fla.; brother, Ronnie Thomley of Clear Springs; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 18 from the chapel of Mack Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Spining officiating. Burial will follow at Baldwin Memorial Cemetery, Robertsdale.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 19059 S. Greeno Road, Fairhope, AL 36532.
