Jimmie C. Armstrong, 83, a native of Greenville and a resident of the William F. Green State Veterans Home in Bay Minette, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2010.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in World War II.
Survivors include three brothers, Billy E. Armstrong of Greenville, Bobby J. Armstrong of Palm City, Fla., and Eddie Armstrong of Van Buren, Ark.; four sisters, Betty Reynolds of Robertsdale, Frances A. Shirley of Stapleton, Alice A. Falgout of Bridge City, La., and Zirlene V. Armstrong, Virginia Beach, Va.; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Inurnment will be held a later date at Sunrise Cemetery in Greenville.
