Jimmy Presley, 75, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013 in Bay Minette.
Mr. Presley was a native of Lottie, and a lifelong resident of Perdido. He was retired from Monsanto Corp.
He was a hunter, and loved to fish.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Doc and Sally Presley; one son, Kent Presley; and a brother, Frank Presley.
Survivors include his former wife, Carolyn Presley of Bay Minette; four sons, Faron (Lynn) Presley of Bay Minette, Alan (Sophie) Presley of Perdido, Troy Presley of Perdido and Tyson Presley of Perdido; five daughters, Kathy Smith of Perdido, Pam (Tyland) Forbes of Perdido, Tonya Presley of Perdido, Rita (Billy) Boatwright of Clanton, Ala. and Brenda Bruch of Clanton; two brothers, Wayne (Tootsie) Presley of Lottie and Don (Virginia) Presley of Perdido; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home in Atmore, with the Rev. Billy Boatwright officiating. Burial will follow at the Presley Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013, from 1 until service time at 2 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Smith, Jesse Smith, Leslie Smith, Donald Presley, Faron Presley II and Tyler Davis.
