Jimmy Ray Sanford, age 59, a native and resident of Loxley died Thursday, June 21, 2012.
Mr. Sanford was employed at Flowerwood Nursery for over 40 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr. Sanford was a family man - a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Sanford of Loxley, AL; 2 daughters, Stacey (Robert) Shiver of Stapleton, AL and Amanda (Wayne) Johnson of Loxley, AL; sister, Mary Barnes of Evergreen, AL; brother, Rickey Sanford of Miflin, AL, 5 grandchildren, one great grandchild and various family members and friends. Graveside funeral services and burial will be held Monday, June 25, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Rock Cemetery, Robertsdale. A visitation will be held at the cemetery from 9:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 19059 South Greeno Road, Fairhope, AL 36532.
