"font-family:">She received her Registered Nurse Certification at Methodist Hospital of Nursing before graduating from Indiana University. Joan devoted 55 plus years in the health care profession.
"font-family:">She is survived by one daughter, two sons, six grandchildren,14 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; brother and sisters-in-law.
"font-family:">Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ivy Reaves.
"font-family:">Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 19, 2011 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Saraland under the direction of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home.
