SPANISH FORT, Ala. — Kohl’s is set to hold a job fair Aug. 10 through 14 at the Hilton Garden Inn, located at 29546 N. Main St. in Daphne. Kohl’s expects to hire 150 full- and part-time employees.

The new store is located in the Spanish Fort Town Center, just northeast of Interstate 10 and U.S. Highway 90, and will open in October.

Applicants can visit kohlscareers.com to fill out an online application or call 877-NEW-KOHLS — a 24 hour job hotline — to secure an interview slot and receive further details, according to a Kohl’s press release.

Applicants who arrive at the job fair without securing an interview slot via Web or phone won’t be interviewed at that time; however, they can receive more information about Kohl’s employment, according to Diana Wakefield, assistant account executive for Kohl’s public relations. The store expects to hire associates for cash registers, department service, truck unloading, customer service, early morning stocking, housekeeping and evening signage/pricing updates, according to a press release.

Applicants must be at least 17 years old and pass a drug screening, according to Wakefield.

Competitive pay, medical insurance, 401(k), employee stock ownership and a merchandise discounts are available for new hires, the press release said.

Interview times at the Hilton Garden Inn:

Aug. 10–11:    10:45 a.m. – 6:15 p.m.

Aug. 12 and 14:    12:15 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Aug. 13: 8:45 a.m. – 4 p.m.
