Joe Lelon Siddon, 89, died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011 in Spanish Fort.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was employed by Alcoa for 36 years, last 10 years working special projects overseas. He was a member of the Fairhope First Christian Church, Masonic Lodge 896, and Lions Club. He was a former president of the Eastern Shore Art Association.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Julius T. Siddon.
Survivors include his wife, Marie R. Siddon of Spanish Fort; two daughters, Myra Sue Harris of Brentwood, Tenn., and Marcia E. Kirby of Kingston Springs, Tenn.; sister, Euna Hood of Lucedale, Miss.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28 at Fairhope First Christian Church.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Fairhope Lions Club.
