Joe Lynn Bailey, 70, a native of Canyon, Texas, and a resident of Fairhope, died Sunday, June 12, 2011 at his residence.
He was a member of Grace Fellowship Church, Fairhope; a long time member of the Gideons International and retired from Bausch & Lomb in 1997.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Sandra Bailey of Fairhope; three daughters, Kimberly Bailey of Mobile, Laura (Kevin) Preisendorf of Birmingham and Katy (Bryan) Sheffield of Birmingham; brother, Jerry Bailey of Amarillo, Texas; sister, Melody (Drew) Davis of Amarillo; six grandchildren, Kristen Bailey, Ariel Preisendorf, Max Preisendorf, James Sheffield, Emma Sheffield and Anna Kate Sheffield; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation begins at 1 p.m. with funeral services at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 15 at Grace Fellowship Church, 19993 County Road 33, Fairhope. A private interment service will follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
