Joel Nathan Lusk Jr., 80, born in Albertville and a resident of Bay Minette, died Saturday, May 3, 2014 at North Baldwin Infirmary.
He was an engineer (retired) for the Alabama Department of Transportation for 39 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Edith Robertson Lusk of Bay Minette; a son, J. Alan (Candi) Lusk of Bay Minette; a daughter, Kathy Bryars of Bay Minette; a brother, Ralph Lusk of England; a sister, Evelyn Berry of Dallas, Ga.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at 10 a.m., at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home, with Dr. Henry Cox officiating.
Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 6, 2014, from 9 until 10 a.m. at Norris Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Lusk, Chipper Drinkard, Andy Lusk, Matt Fail, Jack Smith and Alan Bryars.
