Mr. John Alton Foster, a native of Mobile and resident of Summerdale, died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011. He was 65 years old.
Mr. Foster is survived by his daughters, Dana Foster Day of Orange Beach and Shae Foster Shamp of Mobile; son Wade Williamson of Dauphin Island; grandchildren, Cayla Marie Marcet of Orange Beach, Heidi and Anniston Shamp of Mobile, and Braxton and Breanna Williamson of Satsuma; brothers, Frank Foster of Wilmer and Gene Foster of Mobile; and close companion, Teresa Powell of Summerdale.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011 at Pine Rest Memorial Park, with the visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service at Pine Rest Funeral Home.
The family would like to thank the staff at Golden Living Center in Foley for the wonderful care that was given to Mr. Foster.
