John Callaway Glenn, 78, a native of Birmingham and a resident of Daphne, died Monday, May 2, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Odin Glenn and Evelyn Robertson Glenn; and daughter, Janet Galloway.
Survivors include his loving wife, Helen Tindall Glenn of Daphne; three daughters, Kathryn (Henry) Harms of Fairfax, Va., Linda (Richard) Kraynak of Spanish Fort, Geri (Glenn) Pike of Alexandria, Va.; son-in-law, Rusty Galloway of Atlanta; brother, Walter (Sue) Glenn of Pensacola, Fla.; sister, Nancy Glenn Davidson of Chattanooga, Tenn.; grandchildren, Sarah, Trey, Leslie Kraynak, Hannah, Margaret, Rachel Harms, Joanna (Eric) Sell, John (Theresa) Trowbridge, Lindsay (Kevin) McCabe, Kyle (Ayaka) Galloway and Rebekah Galloway; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 7 from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Daphne. Visitation will follow.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Habitat for Humanity of Baldwin County.
