John Earl Humphrey, 62, born in Foley and a resident of Bay Minette, died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011 at Mobile Infirmary.
He was a cable repairman for South Central Bell.
He is survived by two sons, Anthony Humphrey and Brian Humphrey, both of Bay Minette; one daughter, Celeste Humphrey of Bay Minette; two brothers, Hurbert Humphrey and James Lee Humphrey, both of Stapleton; two sisters, Wanda Ruth Johnson and Minnie Mae “Tootsie” Knowles, both of Stapleton; and three grandchildren, Rebecca Danielle Townly of Seminole, Kevin Wade Jeznach of Tennessee and Larry Nathaniel Quinley of Bay Minette.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011, at 1 p.m., at Stapleton Church of God with the Rev. J. P. Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Loxley.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, from 6 until 10 p.m., at Stapleton Church of God.
