John G. “Bucky” Wade, 63, of Foley, passed away Oct. 4, 2014.
He was a United States Army veteran, who served for more than 10 years. He worked for Gulf Shores Utilities for more than 26 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, James B. Wade.
He is survived by his wife of more than 43 years, Jana Shelton Wade of Foley; a daughter, Tamara J. (Bennie) Walden of Bon Secour; a son, James A. (Amelia) Wade of Bon Secour; mother, Jane Land Wade of Foley; four sisters, Tonja L. Smith of Montevideo Minn., Becky W. (Dave) Sumrall of Pell City; Stephanie W. Stabler of Hamilton and Leann W. Brown of Foley; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday Oct. 8, 2014, at 11 a.m., at Fisherman Baptist Church In Bon Secour.
The interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church Wednesday, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
The family asks that donations be made to Fisherman Baptist Church.
