John Gaige Joiner, 82, of Gulf Shores, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Andrew By The Sea; a Master Mason in the Mizpah Masonic Lodge 302, Omaha, Neb.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jane Gaige Brown.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Joiner of Gulf Shores; two daughters, Ann Joiner of Poetry, Texas, and Susie (Michael) Foley of Fort Morgan; brother, Richard (Kyle) Joiner of Wisconsin; sister, Dixie (the Rev. Jay) Miller of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the charity of your choice.
