John H. Tillman, born Jan. 19, 1937, a United States Marine Corps veteran, died Friday, Dec. 6, 2013.
Mr. Tillman leaves behind, loving wife Elizabeth L. Tillman; four children, Cynthia L. Mills, Nancy P. Skipper, Cheyrl Flint and John B. Tillman; 13 grandchildren, Carey Rome, Jamie Cannon, Jessica Johnson, Jody Skipper, Josh Skipper, Jackie Skipper, Jenna Skipper, Lisa Stabler, Andy Flint, Eddie Flint, Nathanial Tillman, Mary Tillman and Johnathan Tillman; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
A visitation will be held for Mr. Tillman Dec. 9, 2013, from 1 to 2 p.m., at Vernant Park Baptist Church, with a graveside service to follow directly at 2 in Vernant Park Baptist Church Cemetery.
