John Hilbert Driskell, 76, born in Atmore, and a resident of Bay Minette, died Monday, Feb. 6, 2012, at North Baldwin Infirmary. He was a retired dump truck driver for Baldwin County.
He is survived by his wife, Cozetta Holmes Driskell of Bay Minette; one son, Kenny (Lisa) Driskell of Daphne; two daughters, Carolyn Johnson and Lynn (James) Greek both of Bay Minette; six grandchildren, Caris Mayo Bryars, Joshua Driskell, Datia Collum, Brock Johnson, Chrissy Burnham and Justin Driskell and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Driskell; his father, Charlie Driskell; his mother, Cora Driskell; one brother, Winnell Driskell; and two sisters, Olean Phillips and Gail Lambert,
Funeral services were February 9 at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with the Rev. Wendall Hadley and Earl Crook officiating. Burial was at McCullough Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Richard Fowler, Michael Fowler, Danny Boyington, Earl Crook, Joey Collum and Frank Mayo. Alternate pallbearer was Kevin Coleman.
