John Hinds Gensemer, 72, born in Bloomsburg, Pa. and resident of Daphne, passed away Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014 at a local hospital.
He was a member of Daphne United Methodist Church.
Mr. Gensemer was preceded in death by his parents, John and Dorothy Gensemer; and a brother, Frank Gensemer.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine Gensemer of Daphne; two daughters, Rachel (Kenneth) Morrison of Gales Ferry, Conn. and Brandilyn (Jeff) Lascari; two sons, Tyson (Amy) Murray and John (Trisha) Gensemer, all of Daphne; four grandchildren, Lily, Evelyn, Noah and Peyton; two sisters, Mary Kay (Wayne) Kercher and Judy (Larry) Bonifay, all of Pensacola; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
A celebration of John’s life will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, at 11 a.m., at Daphne United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Bob McKibbon and the Rev. Jim Fillingim officiating.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 10 a.m. until time of the service.
