John Houston Wilder, 71, a native of Jefferson County and resident of Loxley, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2010.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Barbra Wilder of Loxley; five sons, Johnny Ray Wilder, Jason Wilder, Harold Wilder, all of Birmingham, Chip West of Loxley and Danny West of Elsanor; two daughters, Angela Gilmore of Birmingham and Jeannie Taylor of Fairhope; brother, Roger Wilder of Mobile; two sisters, Paula Salter of Foley and Diane Lee of Chickasaw; 17 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation begins at 2 p.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, with funeral services at 3 p.m. from the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Fairhope.
