John Joseph Ansley, 68, a resident of Lillian, passed away Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011.
He was born in New York and resided in Hampton, Ga., for more than 30 years. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Mr. Ansley is survived by his wife, Margaret B. Ansley, of Lillian; son, Anthony John Ansley (Beth) of Round Rock, Texas; daughter, Michelle Ansley Wagner (Andraes) of Hampton, Ga.; grandchildren, Ansley Boothe, Cody Boothe, Kyle Ansley, Blake Ansley; two stepgrandchildren, Marcel Wagner and Kathrin Wagner; sister, Evelyn Garthwait of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011, at 6 p.m., from the Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the American Heart Association at P.O. Box 840692, Dallas TX 75284-0692.
