John “Lee” Davenport, 76, a resident of Magnolia Springs, passed away Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Shirley Davenport; stepsons, Eric Underwood and Shaman Gibson; sister, Helen (Dave) Goldman; sister-in-law, Charlotte Parsons; brothers-in-law, Ed (Angel) John Nolte; goddaughter, Allison Adams; special friends, Semra Davenport and Alan Lipscomb.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, at 2 p.m., at South River Park Church of God, 10993 County Road 32 in Fairhope. Pastor Wayne Anderson and Pastor Todd Seeley will conduct the service.
In lieu of flowers, please give to Lee and Shirley’s favorite charity: Samaritan Purse, Operation Christmas Child, through South River Park Church of God.
