John Peter “Johnny” Gottler Jr., age 63, born in Pensacola, Fla. and a resident of Elberta, Ala., passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2015.
He was a member of the Elberta Fire Department and the Traditional Bow Hunters Association.
Survivors include his wife, Angela Buchanan Gottler; son, John Travis Gottler; first grandchild due July; one brother, James H. “ Jimmy” Gottler; one sister, Thelma E. “Betty” Gottler; two nieces; three great-nieces; and two great-nephews.
A celebration of Johnny’s life will be held on Monday, June 8, 2015, at 3 p.m., at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 p.m. until time of the service.
